Lake Murray Dam Recreation Park
Located on the Irmo side of the dam- the site provides a nice place to picnic, fish, or just enjoy the view. Has covered picnic tables with grills along with restrooms. The boat ramp is busy year-round. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, there is a parking charge. I think $5. A good spot to park if you enjoy walking the dam. Nice to see one of the few public access points to the lake still open.
